Symbolisms would have to be some of the strongest, oldest,  and most un-spoken languages in the world. Every society and culture has them, and the symbols they employ are unique to their particular application of the symbol. Some symbols are carriers of their intended meaning across cultural and goegraphic domains..others are location specific, and yet others are ageless and timeless and come down to us through millennia..., As in the example of the frog in the animated icon above,giving everybody that visits this page a big fat rasberry..!!! It is done in fun here, however, I would bet, that everyone that sees it when they enter the page, will immediately experience a specific reaction to the symbol, and identify a very specific intended meaning to it.. That is the the point of symbols. In this case, it is an animated one. In most cases though, unless you are seeing a ritual expression of symbology, the symbols seen are dormant, yet convey a very special and intended meaning to those individuals who have been instructed (initiated) into its "mysteries". They are endowed with power, and energy and become dangerous "talismans". Yes, a symbol is an icon, like the Cross of christianity, which to christians has a very specific intended meaning. They will however have to keep that secret among themselves because the origin of the cross has NOTHING at all, whatsoever to do with the christian doctrine of Jesus dying on a "cross".  The cross itself has a very esoteric meaning, as does the Sangreal..."The Holy Blood". It is sad, but christians believing the myth of Jesus litterally set themselves up to be mocked by not understanding, or even knowing the true meanings of symbols. Such is the case for the majority of society. Through symbolisms, the elites who are engineering a new world society under their control, are able to manipulate the masses through delusion to do their bidding totally un-awares.
