This page is entirely dedicated to the people who are always telling us what is good for us without actually thinking about what they say. Alot of what we are told... in the media, by politicians, educators, corporate representatives,scientists, etc, etc will on the surface sound good, wholesome, and logical. However after careful thought and research, the very opposite becomes logical and sensical after all the "facts" are exposed. Right now in the news for example, we are seeing sweeping changes in the gun laws of our country. We are shown isolated examples of people, and especially "children" who have been killed by gun related crimes. We are not undermining here the tragedy, or the deaths of those killed. What we are arguing however, is the specious reasonning employed to "get everyone on board" that will cause us to see the reasonableness of getting rid of guns completely, and/or severely restricting their use. Here is a little satire found on the web debating the logic of gun control. US Gun Statistics Various Sources 2-2-5 (A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000. (B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000. (C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171. (Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept. of Health Human Services) Guns (A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. Yes, that is 80 million. (B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500. (C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.000188. Statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners. Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do." FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR. Please alert your friends to this alarming threat. We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand! Out of concern for the public at large, I have withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention. It should be noted that in addition to doctors actually causing the deaths of 120,000 people, and we believe those figures are low, the medical profession whose paramount motto is "Do No Harm" has performed since Roe v/s Wade, 30 MILLION abortions in the United States alone. So the next time you hear the trumpets of sweeping reform for any matter at all, please try to not get carried away by the "reasonableness of the actions as a knee jerk reaction to or for policy changes, before you actually do the math..!!! THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH CHALLENGE EVERYTHING, QUESTION EVERYTHING THERE ARE NO COINCIDENCES
